Tomato 4” Pots

Heirloom Varieties-

-Pruden’s Purple- 67 days
  Dark pink with delicious classic tomato flavor.  Resists cracking.  Large fruit, really  productive, potato leaf

-Garden Peach- 71 days
 These are one of my favorites, always produce huge amounts of fruit. 
  Small, sweet, yellow with a touch of pink at the bottom, and just a little fuzzy!

-Green Zebra- 77 days
  Beautiful!  Ripens to a green with bright yellow stripes.  Smallish fruit resists cracking.

-Black Krim-80 days
  Dark purple with green-purple shoulders.  Intense meaty tomato flavor.  Medium size fruit, Russian heirloom

-Rose De Berne-80 days
  One of our favorite varieties.  Beautiful pink, perfectly round, delicious, medium size.  Holds up a little longer to late blight than other heirlooms.  

-Pink Brandywine-82 days
  The gold standard in heirloom tomatoes.  Somewhat finicky to grow but the flavor of these lovely tomatoes is worth the effort!  
Oblate large fruit.

- Jaune Flamme - 75 days
Beautiful 40z. saladette tomatoes, reddish orange superb sweet flavor produces loads of early fruit!

- Amish Paste - 85 days
Our favorite paste tomato for cooking, canning and salsa.  Large fruit with thick flesh and great flavor

-Pink Berkeley Tie Dye - 70 days
 Beautiful dark pink with green stripes. Excellent heirloom tomato flavor. Indeterminate, some diseases resistance.

-Cherokee Purple- 72 days
Rich flavor and texture, gorgeous dark fruit with brown-green shoulders. Medium size fruit on shorter indeterminate plants.

-Cosmonaut Volkov- 65 days
Sweet and juicy. Lovely heirloom tomato flavor. Dependable producer even in sometimes cold VT summers. Indeterminate

-Weaver's Black Brandywine- 85 Days
A gorgeous treat to have in the garden. Dark, greenish purple fruit, bold meaty tomato flavor. We love it! 

-Pineapple- 85 days
These are my absolute favorite. They are so beautiful and their juicy sweet flavor is exactly what I love about summer tomatoes...but they are not very productive, and they grow in the most interesting shapes most of the time,  also they crack easily . And still I grow them every year because they are too good not to.

-Striped German- 78 days
Yellow and red striped heirloom. Medium - large, beautiful and excellent flavor.

-San Marzano- 78 days
Classic paste tomato. Medium size fruit is easy to peel and cooks down to make a lovely sauce. 


Slicers

- Jet Star - 72 days
Great standard slicing tomato.  Early large fruit, great in greenhouses or in the garden.  Crack resistant 

- Oregon Spring -60 days
Determinate variety works well in containers or for tomato cages.  Great early variety for our area.

- Defiant PHR - 70 days
If you have lost your tomato plants to late blight in the past try this disease resistant variety!  Medium size has good resistance to late blight and early blight.  Determinate plant medium size fruit with good flavor.

-New Girl- 62 days
Early indeterminate slicer, medium size fruit somewhat disease resistant. Lovely ripe tomato flavor

​-Mountain Princess- 68 days
Mild and sweet tomato flavor. Very productive and excellent for container or raised bed gardens. Determinate

- Verona-  67 days
Very flavorful plum cocktail size tomato. Excellent for fresh eating, sauces and drying. 

-Big Beef- 70 days
10-12 oz. great flavor, ripens early for a large tomato

-Celebrity- 72 days
Very popular medium-large slicing tomato. 7-8 oz fruit good flavor- hardy plant. Determinate

-Moskvich- 60 days
Early, cold- tolerant and flavorful. 4-6 oz fruit

-Early Girl- 60 days
Classic tomato flavor, early to ripen. Excellent drought resistance..so perfect for everyone who forgets to water regularly :)

-Glacier- 55 days
Small round 1-2 oz. cocktail size tomato. Determinate Heirloom

-Galahad- 69 days
Excellent flavor and disease resistance. Early to ripen and late blight resistant. 7-12 oz fruit, Determinate

- Mountain Fresh- 75 days
Nice size, sturdy plant. Doesn't mind cool and wet weather, good flavor too!



Cherry Tomatoes-

- Supersweet 100 - 60 days
Reliable producer of loads of delicious red cherries 

-Sungold-57 days-
Once these start ripening, I find myself snagging a few every time I walk by.   Bright orange, perfectly sweet-tart flavor.  Prone to splitting so harvest immediately when ripe.  

-Matt’s Wild Cherry- 60 days-
Small intense tomato flavor, very sweet.  Somewhat resistant to early and late blight

- Black Cherry - 64 days
Beautiful and flavorful larger cherry sized tomato.  Lovely mixed with sungolds and red cherry tomatoes

- Yellow Pear -70 days
This variety produces tons of bright light yellow pear shaped fruit, mild flavor

-Blush- 70 days
Our girls favorite "Tiger tomatoes" they call them. Their deep gold skin is marbled with red and orange stripes. 
Sweet and beautiful, we love to mix them with others. 

- Sunrise Bumblebee- 70 days
Yellowish orange with red and dark orange stripes. sweet and tangy flavor. On the larger size for cherry tomatoes. Indeterminate

-Purple Bumblebee- 70 days
Purple fruit with green stripes. A beautiful color to have in the mix. Indeterminate

-Pink Bumblebee- 70 days
Pink tomato with yellow and orange striping. Indeterminate. 

-Five Star Grape- 62 days
Excellent sweet flavor, very productive. Our favorite grape tomato!

- Midnight Pear- 60 days
Dark purple/brown/black pear shaped cherry tomato. Amazing flavor. A favorite last year in our cherry tomato tunnels.

-Green Tiger- 70 days
Green striped oblong cherry tomato. Gorgeous addition to a cherry tomato mix.

Peppers - 4" pots

-New Red Ace- 50 days green, 70 days red
  Medium size green to red, turns color early.  Nice and sweet, great producer for the north country. 

-Flavorburst- 75 days-
  Huge beautiful and delicious!  These peppers start out a lime green color then turn the brightest yellow.  One of the earliest to turn color.

- Carmen- 60-80 days
Bright red fruit, long and skinny. Extra sweet flavor. A favorite here. Compact plants produce well.

- Yankee Bell-60 days green, 80 days red
Open pollinated pepper, good producer in colder climates. Medium size blocky fruit.

-King Arthur- 59 days green, 79 days red
Large green to red sweet pepper. Big productive plants!

-Islander- 56 days purple, 81 days red
Beautiful light purple bell pepper. Turns yellow, orange and red as it ripens. 
 
-Glow-53 daysgreen, 73 orange
Super sweet orange mini bell pepper

-Escamillo- 60 days green, 80 yellow
Deep golden tapered Italian frying style pepper. Delicious!

- King of the North- 70 days red
Excellent choice for Vermont's short growing season. 
-Iko Iko- 65-85 days
This beautiful bell pepper starts off yellow/green/purple and ripens to orange/gold/red hues. Often striped. Always delicious. 

- Early Jalapeño -60-80 days
Classic jalapeño pepper.  Produces small jalapeños with good heat.  Open Pollinated

- Thai Hot -82 days
We love these tiny little hot peppers.  The small plants produce tons of peppers.  Great for drying.

-Hot Paper Lantern- 90 days 
Heat similar to habaneros, very productive and easy to grow here. Elongated beautiful red peppers.

-Habanero- 80 days green - 100 days orange
Super spicy, small wrinkled orange fruit. Less reliably productive than Hot Paper Lantern here in VT, but it's worth a try! 

-Cayenne- 60 days green, 80 days red
Productive plant produces loads of 6" long peppers. Sweet hot taste excellent for drying and fresh use. 

- Habandana- 100 days orange
All the flavor of Habanero peppers without the heat!

-Matchbox- 75 days
Open Pollinated 2" long peppers grow well in a variety of soil types and conditions. 

-Anaheim- 65 days green 
Good yields in cooler climates, semi-flat 7" long peppers 

-Ancho - 65 days green 85 days brown
early medium sized ancho pepper. Smooth skin is easy to peel when roasted

-Hungarian Hot Wax- 58 days yellow, 83 days red
Excellent for pickled peppers, beautiful range of colors! Sweet heat

-Shishito- 60 days green- 75 days red
Small milder hot pepper. Excellent roasted or pan fried with olive oil and salt.
